How to scale text?

I have a UI element "TEXT" which is positioned on a fixed width background. The string can be of different lengths and should be displayed without hyphens (i.e. in a string). And I want the text itself not to go beyond the background, no matter how long it is. And the question is, is it possible to reduce text (font or scale) with ui tools if it exceeds certain limits?

The Text component has a Best Fit checkbox, it allows you to make the text fit rubber.
