How to save an image on the user's machine as an image and not in base64 format?

Good morning.
I am writing a puzzle.
In general, I get a 1200x900 image from the user, I get it in base64 format,
then I attach this line to each image tag and I get 70 full-size images on the screen (well, of course, pieces clipped via svg ).
Is there a way to simply save the image on the user's machine using js and attach only the path to the image to the image tag?
