How to Russify CentOS 6.5?

Please advise a newbie. Installed with live cd CentOS 6.5, now you need to Russify it. Am I doing the right thing? Or is it necessary / possible?
In the file /etc/sysconfig/i18n I write:

LANG="ru_RU.UTF-8"
SUPPORTED="ru_RU.UTF-8:ru_RU:ru"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

Run the command locale -a | grep ru and see the result.
If there is no Russian, then run:
localedef -i ru_RU -f UTF-8 ru_RU.UTF-8
