I use the following:
1. Virtual machine: Parallels Desktop, allows you to work with IE windows as if they were native OS X applications (browser icons will appear in the dock)
2. For different versions of IE, I download free Windows images with the required versions of IE preinstalled from here: https: //modern.ie/ru-ru/virtualization-tools#downloads (Select the system, version of IE, Parallells and download)
3. Windows images are ready to go, ie. you just need to add the downloaded image to Parallels and that's it, you can run it.
For the purity of the experiment, I kept all browsers under VmWare in Windows, to be sure.
Moreover, VmWare Fusion integrates very well into MacOS in Unity mode (IE is launched from the windows environment) like a regular macos program.
Either CrossOver also has a place to be, for example, I play World Of Tanks from under it ....
Need a virtual machine. And for good, you need to check all browsers there too, since they behave a little differently on different platforms.
