How to run Android app (from Android Studio) via WIFI (Redmi Note 4)?

Hello. I want to set up debugging an application over WiFi through Android Studio. The phone is new (no root).
I do it through adb, but when I try adb connect ip_address I write unable to connect ...
It seems that I do everything according to the instructions. Maybe an error in IP - I connect to the same WiFi and laptop and phone.
Help advice what to do?
