How to run an application in floating in Awesome WM?

The bottom line is this - in this wonderful WM, you need to force the application to run in floating. The default is Tile, and therefore the window immediately takes up all the space allocated to it, all sorts of functions like setSize (...) become useless, and they also sometimes need to be checked. I launch applications from the console. Now, for tests, I first switch to floating, then I launch the application.

Or separately set

Or you can specify the floating mode for the tag, I have the fifth tag for all sorts of small background applications.
