How to run all installed software in Tails through Tor?

When installing third-party software, will its traffic go through the server or something needs to be configured?
I need to set up a server via ssh and upload files to it via filezilla or another ftp manager, and I also need skype, telegram, all this should work through tor

All software installed on top needs to be configured to connect via SOCKS5 Proxy provided by Tor (127.0.0.1:9150). Until you do this, the software will not have access to the Internet.
https://tails.boum.org/doc/advanced_topics/additio...
SSH connections will be torified by default.
You can do it via Nautilus, it is already torified and can SFTP via "Connect to Server".
Most likely nothing will come of it.
Skype blocks connections from Tor-exit nodes:
https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/org/...
In addition, Skype itself, as a product, is not secure in terms of privacy: a) no one does not know what it does (closed-source) and what fingerprints it collects; b) Skype cooperates with NSA: www.theguardian.com/world/2013/jul/11/microsoft-ns...
In general, be careful:
Tails is not intended to be used as a permanent OS on disk. It's a distro optimized to wipe all your presence data after every session.
https://tails.boum.org/support/faq/index.en.html#i...
However, software settings (even your own) can be saved on a persistent volume .
All software installed on top will be installed from packages each time Tails is restarted, with each session. Storing configs on a persistent volume will allow you to save settings.

rubbish hackers... don't read the docs and go to the toaster. There, it’s stupid to configure all the software on a proxy, or write your own network driver that automatically redirects all traffic through a proxy.
