How to run a program in Android Studio without an emulator?

The computer does not pull the launch of the emulator, it immediately hangs. Can I somehow run the program without it? To display the result only in Design

Connect the phone via cable and run on it.
There is also help on how to do it.

It doesn't work like that. An application needs an operating system to run. Either an emulator or a physical device.

There are experiments with running andoid in an lxc container inside desktop linux, i.e. there is no emulation in this case
