How to rollback a package to a previous version in Synaptic Kali Linux?

Unable to roll back any package to a previous version in Synaptic.
I used to do this:
In Synaptic, right-click on the required package -> Mark for update -> Package -> Specify version -> Install -> Done
But for some reason the buttons became inactive: "Mark for update" and "Specify version".
How to fix it?
I did, update, upgrade, there are no broken packages, the repository is according to the standard, I reinstalled Synaptic, there is no result.

You can roll back not to any, but to one of those present in the repositories, for example, if a third-party is connected, or the same proposed - you may have several versions in some packages. In this case, you already have a single version, the same one that is available in your repositories - the system does not see others. As a solution, connect a repository that has the required version, or go to launchpad.net in the package build history and download, if available, the required version as a deb package for your architecture. Well, do not forget to fix it in Synaptic so that it does not update itself.
