How to roll migration to master-slave database?

There is a master server from which data is duplicated on several servers.
Question: how to roll the migration correctly (add or change a column, add a table, etc.)? Do I need to do the migration on the master only or on each of the servers?

All changes - only on master. Replication should do everything itself on the slave.
