How to "revive" an SSD?
Hello! Now I have 2 hard drives on my computer - a 320 GB HDD from Samsung and a 60 GB SSD from Silicon Power
Previously, there was a system on the SSD, but then I ran into a problem - the file system on the disk was read-only, dancing with a tambourine and Google searches turned up nothing. I installed Ubuntu 16.04 on the HDD, now I see a connected SSD drive. Here is part of the fdisk -l output:
Диск /dev/sdb: 55,9 GiB, 60022480896 байтов, 117231408 секторов
Единицы измерения: секторов из 1 * 512 = 512 байтов
Размер сектора (логический/физический): 512 байт / 512 байт
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Тип метки диска: dos
Идентификатор диска: 0x9a720579

Take it to the store under warranty. It is most likely that the SSD has gone into read only mode. Make a backup
To find out the status of the disk, you just need to read it with SMART, with any utility that can do this.
In this case, even without this, it is clear - the disk is scrapped.
