How to return Ubuntu to the state immediately after installation?

I am a complete novice in Linux. I would like to know if it is possible to rollback Ubuntu 14.04 to the state in which it is immediately after installation? well, i.e. default. I googled that there is just a command for the console for this, but I did not find the command itself

This must be taken care of in advance. There are 3 simple options:
1) Using lvm snapshots.
2) Using btrfs snapshots.
3) Not the most convenient, but the easiest - clonezilla.
If you have already messed up the system, then do a reinstall. Then take a snapshot. After experimenting, you can roll back to a saved state. As you get dirty, you can make "restore points" as much as you like to roll back to the desired state. And then you can go back.

Reinstall. That's not for long.

Just to take it and return it is unlikely ...
You would write what problems you had there.
Most likely in the desktop settings? So more or less Sanan Yuzb wrote, only you don't have GNOME there, almost certainly, but Unity?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
