How to return site positions after moving to another domain?

The essence of the problem: the site was on the old domain, got into the top 3 of the region for all targeted queries. It was decided to move to a new (shorter and more memorable) domain. The old address has taken off from the search engines, and the new one does not even come up in the search results.

Question: does it make sense now to upload a copy of the site to the old address and do the gluing?

Or can the problem of not getting a new site to the top of the issue be for other reasons?

well, since you already did this before the move (did you?), then maybe
the problem of not getting a new site to the top of the issue may be for other reasons

Well, all the old positions and all the old link mass died, you invested hundreds of thousands of rubles in a new SEO to get to the top then?
And apparently the person or SEO who made this decision is a bit of an idiot.

It was necessary to initially collect and configure a redirect map. Especially for all the top pages - now you can’t do anything, only SEO from scratch. How long has the new domain been in operation?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
