How to return facebook username?

In facebook, when registering, a user can get a username or url, for example facebook.com/username I had such a username, like user.name I decided to remove the dot, not knowing that the name with a dot or without = the same thing. As a result, I deleted the name with a dot, but I could not enter it without a dot. It is busy, because in theory it was already attached to my page. If I pass the old name, the page is not found, since it is no longer tied to my account. But: the facebook username can be changed once, while I still have this chance.
As I understand it, even after the lapse of time, the username will not become available? Is there any way to resolve this issue through them? I wrote to the support in the help section, but maybe someone knows the email of their support? I am ready to solve everything in English.
