How to return a phone with SDS syndrome under warranty?

There is a Nexus 5 with a dead emmc , most likely it will be necessary to change the entire board. The phone turns on, but gets into the bootloop with the Google Logo. Am I obligated to fix it under warranty? On Habré I saw a post where in the comments they said that they were calmly returning to the service, but nothing is said about whether there was a root, etc. (I can't ask in PM). Will they pay attention to the root and custom ROM, because the marriage is not caused by the firmware, but by the device itself. Is it possible to erase traces if necessary? There is access to the bootloader ...

If they conclude that emmc died because of the root, then they will not fix it.
Otherwise, they should: in Russia, actions that did not lead to a breakdown of the device are not the reasons for the loss of the guarantee, even if the opposite is written in the agreement signed to you.
The law takes precedence over any scribbles about the rules of use.

I found a certain usb jig that allows you to reset the firmware counter, but this is only for Samsung devices; (maybe someone knows another way?
UPD:
They agreed in the store, I will send it to the SC (for 500 km). There is a possibility that they will refuse, although I don’t know for sure Waiting time: 2 months Thank you all, I will unsubscribe when the answer comes - wait;)
