How to restrict access to files on the server side?

I welcome everyone. I am using Xampp webserver over LAN. Everything is fine, sites open from other devices inside the LAN. But the fact is that the files themselves on the computer (server) are not protected, that is, anyone who uses my computer can open them. Tried with ways to set a password, but the server is turned off. How can you close access to these files from the server side, but at the same time, so that the server continues to work.
Great gurus help me, I don’t understand much in IT myself

@Benisago

it all depends on how

anyone using my computer can open them

you can protect files with OS access rights and prevent people from accessing the computer with your access
, you can also run the server under user rights that are different from the one under which you use the computer (create a new one), respectively, granting rights to the folder with the site to this user, no one except the one who knows the password to it will not be able to read them
