How to restore ntfs mft after dd?
there is a usb-hdd, on it 1 partition in ntfs
accidentally wrote 1.6 GB iso to it from Linux (via dd if=ubuntu.iso of=/dev/sdb)
immediately after the cant, the disk turned off and nothing more was written
on the disk photos, directories with coursework, web project code, online courses
need to restore the directory structure (of course, minus the overwritten 1.6GB), without a directory structure, the data is of little use,
how can this be done?

try rstudio
, in theory, you wrote down all the info ntfs at the beginning of the disk, I don’t really remember if there is a backup of system data at the end of the disk
