How to restore file extension?

There were viruses on the computer and added their extension to many files - .fil
I can not find a solution. Example:
document.xls.fil
Choi - Anthill.mp3.fil
A simple solution how to remove the fil extension does not help
Tell me the solution who knows

Renaming won't help because the files are encrypted. All files from which you remove the FIL extension yourself will not be decrypted later. For decryption here: https://support.drweb.ru/new/free_unlocker/?keyno=...

Total Commander -> Rename
Just auto-replace *.fil with ''(nothing) and that's it.

Через FAR Manager > Alt + F7 > Поиск всех файлов по маске *.fil
Затем вывод их всех единым списком кнопка [Panel]
Дальше нажимаете * (звездочку) что бы выделить все файлы, F6 для переименования выделенных файлов и указываете имя *. т.е. вместе "звездочкаточка"
Нажимаете переименовать и все расширения вернутся в нужный вид

А мне так же кажется - что файлы зашифрованы.
Вы сами пробовали изменить расширение файла вручную? к чему привело? Заработало?
