How to rest from mental activity?

After 3 hours of active mental work, the brain arranges a "strike" and it becomes impossible to work further. You become distracted, lethargic, the brain stops thinking.
I would like to ask the experienced, for whom most of the load is mental, how do you cope with mental fatigue? (unlike the physical one, they don’t help just lie on the couch). Do you have any tricks? Can certain exercises help? Or a specific food?
The question is really sore, I hope for useful answers from those who have encountered this problem and / and know how to solve it. Thank you!

Go to bed in the evening, not late at night.
Exercises are not specific, but they just have to be to keep the body in good shape. Who runs, who goes to dances, who rides a bike..
At work, take breaks more often than once every three hours, once an hour.
Go make yourself tea, while you make it, while you pour it, while you walk along the corridor - you warmed up.
Sit with your eyes closed for 2-3 minutes, trying not to think about anything.
Well, reduce the load.

Meditation. I'm serious.
The main thing is to learn not to think about anything, which is very difficult at first, because the brain is used to thinking about something all the time. The simplest recipe is to focus on your breath.
