How to resolve c++ error in Adobe Adge Animate?

Greetings.
As soon as I throw the cutting of files into the program and start dragging them, it gives an error with the following content
"An error occurred. Pleae save your work and restart Edge Animate."
I click OK and I get "unknown C++ exception".
Restarting and reinstalling the program didn't help.
Also, installing an earlier version of the program did not help.
I install the program under a paid subscription from Adobe. Hardware - MacBook Pro
