How to reprogram the buttons of the headphones?

Bought a JBL bluetooth earphone today. And everything would be fine, but there are only 3 buttons: on / off (it's a pause), and plus and minus for sound. But I almost don’t change the sound - I’ll set it up once and listen, and the forward / backward buttons (next / previous song) would be much more important to me. Is it possible to somehow change their purpose? In any case, in a simple way. I won’t go into the firmware, but if suddenly there is some kind of software on the android that will simply interpret their commands in a different way or in some other easy way ... It would be cool! And that opportunity is sorely lacking. That's really sound control I nafig did not give up.

Try it, double tap play quickly - next
Doesn't work on all ears
One tap = pause/play, two-tap = forward 1 track, 3 tap = backward 1 track
