How to replace slider in WP site?

There is a site on WordPress. An order was given to replace this slider with another one (slider dimensions are the same). The question is, how do I replace it? I have already written my slider, now I need to somehow change the old one to mine. I think that either I will edit the html and css code of the site, or I will add a slider to the main page using WP. If you have to edit the site code, then how can I do it, because I practically did not work with WP. Maybe in WP you can somehow open the site code and rewrite the old slider there with the new one?

Template files can be picked through the tabs "Appearance => Edit".
But to save the result, you need to do this on a child theme (otherwise, when updating, all changes will fly off, at best).
Another option is through this or a similar plugin (html embedding is also there), but there will be much more fuss with CSS.
