How to replace DE from Cinammon with LXDE in debian 8 without breaking anything?

I have a working PC with Debian 8 and Cinnamon. Cinnamon sometimes freezes and nothing can kill him except reset. I want to install LXDE, but I'm afraid that something might break when changing DE. How to do everything right ?

This is not Windows and nothing can be broken when installing programs from the repository. apt-get in hand and put forward. This is where the instruction ends.
