How to replace bootstrap modal windows and other bootstrap js goodies with Vuejs?

It is clear that you can just connect Vuejs. But I'm interested in - maybe there is some worthwhile library that will be supported, if there is one. I've seen this but I don't know how it works and whether to bother or connect Vue directly.
