First, forward slashes are defined in the schema according to the standard.
Secondly, tftp does not provide for the distribution of files by folders, all files must be in the tftp root, so on Windows the tftp client does not use any slashes at all (neither forward nor backward) to specify a file on the tftp server . And Mikrotik will not know in which folder Windows will save the file, so he does not care about backslashes on the client side.
tftp.exe -i 192.168.1.1 get qwerty.zip D:\tmp\qwerty.zip
windows needs to be loaded, so the bootloader is in PXE and he doesn’t know at all whether he will load Windows or Linux or something else, that bootloader doesn’t care even more about slashes. In short, the essence of the problem is not clear where you can get backslashes from.
