How to replace a phrase in all project files, for example, via ftp (deploy)?

I work with atom there is a similar search, but it's not clear how it searches, and if I replace it, then there are no changes. What are the options?

Answer 1

Synchronize the directory on the server with the local one. Then you do a bulk replacement in the local directory and synchronize with the directory on the server.
I have not found a way to force SFTP to search and change files directly on the server.
