How to replace a failed AD controller from 2008 to 2012?

There are 2 servers that perform the same roles (AD + DNS)
They work on 2008 R2 Stnd
One of the servers is out of order. (hardware failure).
We bought a replacement for it and, at the same time, the distribution kit win2012srv.
Is it possible to simply raise a new system on a new server, taking into account a complete copy of the settings from the old server (IP and Name), stick it into the domain and promote it to the role of a controller? So that you don’t have to clean anything up later and there are no errors?

It just won't work. My opinion is that it would be correct to enter it with other parameters (ip, host name). Set the role of AD, and the desire to move the owners of operations.
