How to repair corrupted AI (Error: "Unable to open illustration failed to complete the requested operation")?

Saved a multi-page complex ai. The volume turned out to be about 1.4 GB.
Preserved well, but when opened, after going through the entire loading bar, it gives an error
"cannot open the illustration, the requested operation could not be completed"
System OS X 10.11
Please give advice on how to restore this file
Tried: remove other processes, cleaned the RAM and virtual machine - total enough. I watched the overload on the processor and RAM - everything is fine, it does not eat everything.

1) try to open via file->open (there was such a glitch in CS6 once - double clicking on the file killed the chandelier)
2) try to open the file on another computer (mac) / on another operating system (not mac)
3) try to open another version of the chandelier
4) try to open Acrobat (if you saved the file with the PDF compatible option - Acrobat will treat the *.ai file as PDF)
5) try to import into Corel Draw (or another program that understands the chandelier format)
6) try to put this file through the file-> place command in Photoshop or InDesign - will it read at all?
