How to renew an SSL certificate from StartSSL from SHA1 to SHA256?
There is an installed SSL certificate from the StartSSL company with SHA1 for the domain and subdomains for another year and a half.
What needs to be done organizationally and technically to update the certificate signing algorithm to a modern one?
Do I need to pay a registrar?
Who has practical experience?

You need to issue a new certificate. The old one, in a good way, needs to be recalled.

Just go to the StartSSL website and reissue the certificate.
