How to remove the windows bootloader in second place?
Laptop Lenovo Z510. Previously, there was only win10. After some time, I decided to install Xubuntu as the second system (I became an article from Habr ). A few months later, I completely switched to xubuntu, and Windows was left only for games (still, you rarely want to play).
A week ago I launched Windows, played it, turned it off after 40 minutes. That's it, problems started at this place. She did not turn off for a long time (about 6-7 hours). Then my patience snapped, and I turned off the laptop by pressing the Power button and left. When I tried to turn on the laptop, there was no grub bootloader, but Windows immediately tried to boot. But nothing worked for her: she either hangs herself, or the laptop spins in an endless cycle of "troubleshooting".
I went into the BIOS, saw that Windows put its bootloader in the first place, moved it to the second (after grub). I save, turn on and again Windows. As a result, I could see the grub bootloader only 5-6 times. But the problems didn't end there. When I finally chose ubuntu to boot, a black screen appeared, for a moment some two windows appeared, and again a black screen. There was a beep, something inside spun and that's it. Normally I managed to log into the system only after a few hours of such attempts.
Now the beeping is gone, but the problem with the Windows bootloader remains. He always comes out on top. Myself! How to fix it? What's happening?
