How to remove the restriction on changing the system requirements of Windows Server?
There is a server with a 32GB SSD. Windows Server 2008 R2 refuses to be installed on it due to the fact that the real size of the partition is 29.7GB. I am sure that the system will not take up all 32GB, and third-party software will take up much less than a gigabyte.
Is it realistic to change something in the Windows distribution to remove this limitation or lower it? Or, as an option, during the installation, virtually increase the size of the partition (just like in Chinese terabyte flash drives) with the ability to return everything back?

Have you thought about the fact that in addition to the server, you will also need to install updates and the necessary software? and it will all take up space.
You are right about the updates. Over time it can get very hot. If you plan to use this Windows for a long time (more than a year or two) - think about it in advance.
