How to remove Skype from taskbar in Windows 7 (SP1)
I would be very happy if someone could help me to do this.
I'll try to prevent the downvote for a stupid question:
1) yes, I saw this question habrahabr.ru/qa/8302/ (it did not help me)
2) yes, I tried running Skype in different compatibility modes, and turning off the "show in tray" checkbox in skype settings.
3) no, unfortunately there is no way to roll back to an older version (current 5.3.0.120)
4) why do I need this? firstly, this is an extra window on the taskbar (besides, it is duplicated in the tray), secondly, skype, among other windows, often interferes and distracts. If there is no way, then okay) but I hope I just did not find an existing solution to this problem =)
Thanks in advance!
UPD:I screwed “naked” windows 7 (sp1) to the virtual machine, checked it, antoo turned out to be right, everything works.
The problem was due to the multi-desktop emulator.
Problem solved, thanks.

Specially just tried:
1. I downloaded the latest skype from the site.
2. Settings -> Advanced -> Uncheck "Keep Skype from the taskbar when I'm online". Save.
3. Click on "collapse" - Skype in the taskbar. Click on "close" - only in the tray.
