How to remove password from VBA project of XLAM file?

There is a file with XLAM resolution.
The VBA project of this file is password protected.
How to remove protection without knowing the password?
The method is to rename it to a file with ZIP permission and replace DPB with DPx through notepad. the password is removed, but the project file remains empty and the VBA project code disappears.
