How to remove $NVM_DIR value?

Previously installed. I want to install nvm from scratch.
Shows this error:
You have $NVM_DIR set to "/Users/vladimir/.nvm", but that directory does not exist. Check your profile files and environment.
Which file contains the $NVM_DIR variable?
