How to remove index of /?

Installed apache2 on linux set up a local server and so on. in general, the problem when opening the site is displayed like this:
created .htaccess inserted the following lines into it::
RewriteEngine On
DirectoryIndex index.html
and still does not start from the index.html file
What should I do? Good people, help!

The question is removed, just renamed index.html instead of index.php

So judging by the directory, you don't have an index.html file, you just have an index
