How to remove empty space between Terrain and Object?

Good evening, everyone. Help me please. Why is there an empty space between Terrain and Object when Y = 0 for both? How to solve this problem?

I understood why it happened, if let's say terrain Y=0 and sphere y=0, then sphere has such a property as Scale, and as I understand it, this empty space between terrain and sphere is Scale - z. If Z is set to 0.01, then the distance between the terrain and the sphere will be 0.01, but then the sphere will not be a sphere, but a flat cake :D
This is a rough solution, but I did not find a solution so that the distance between the terrain and sphere does not react to Scale.
