There is a site. The site has articles. In the headings of the article on the main page, the date of publication and the subtitle are displayed. Where is the php script that contains the lines for displaying the date and subtitle, or where can I remove this whole thing in the CMS settings itself? I didn’t write the code, and I just started to understand the Bitrix architecture. Can anyone suggest ?

Go to the page where the display is incorrect.
In the upper right corner in the admin panel, switch to edit mode.
When you hover over the news, a pop-up panel "component menu" should appear.

Click the gear, there in the tab "data source" -> Fields. Remove unnecessary.

If the component is custom, then you can remove the display of properties in the component parameters. But usually everything is in the component template.
