How to remove child categories from search?

To the left of the search, there is a refinement of the search for a specific category. But there are more than 200 categories on my site and in the settings there is no way to show only the main categories ... And it turns out that by pressing this button a huge list is put forward ... Tell me how to fix this?

Maybe there is some plugin with seamless integration that has similar settings ... advise if anyone knows
