How to remove applications from the switching list in Mac OS?

I got a macbook, I didn’t use Mac OS before, but I have some knowledge. I have now installed applications such as Yandex.Disk and Telegram, which lived in the tray in windows, did not shine when switching applications until I opened the application window. On Mac OS, these applications are in the Command-Tab switching list (clearly, it switches by active applications), but is it possible to make sure that some applications are not in this list that I do not want to switch to, but I want them to work in the background (like Yandex.Disk)?

The application itself must be able to do this and have the option “show only in the menu bar” or something similar in the settings. Otherwise, you will need a separate application that will replace the standard cmd-tab switch, such as Command-tab Plus .
