How to remove an article from a link in Bitrix?

Hello! There is a news infoblock that displays articles. It is located in the artice folder.
Now the detailed article has the following link:
https://site.com/article/news1

and you need it like this:
https://site.com/news1

I removed the article in the settings of the news component, in the settings of the info block - it didn’t work , starts to give a 404 error when you go to the detailed news. How should I add it to urlrewrite to make it work? or is there something else that needs to be done?

urlrewrite processes addresses and sends a request to the desired script.
IB and component settings show how to generate a section or element URL.
check that urlrewrite leads to the correct component script, and that the correct new chain of addresses is set in the IB settings.
Plus don't forget to put 301 for old addresses)
