How to disable unnecessary extensions when saving a file?

So that in the drop-down list there were 3 options PSD, PNG, JPEG
Or the default was always PNG

If saved via

File > Save As...

then there is no way to remove the extra extensions. It's better to keep it that way

File > Export > Save for WEB

or

File > Export > Export As...
