How to register a site in accordance with the new law on personal data?

Hey!
There will be a contact form on the site, and out of the corner of my ear I heard that it is supposedly necessary to register the site now for this.
Can someone describe the order? What do you need? Where to do it?

It is not necessary to register the site, but yourself as a PD operator in the register of PD operators of Roskomnadzor, pd.rkn.gov.ru/. As far as I know, this is all just hype, but it's better to check with knowledgeable people: https://pdn.ru/

If the site has / will have a form for collecting contact data, then this can be considered the collection of personal data. You can read about how to set everything up so as not to break the law on the Tinkoff magazine website , on the website of one of the email mailing services , and here .
Briefly:
- If the site collects data that can identify the user (for example: Last name, First name and Phone, Last name, First name, Email), then this is considered the collection of personal data, and the requirements of the law on personal data must be observed.
- If the data is collected for the subsequent sending of advertising mailings (and not, for example, for sending press releases, which is considered not advertising, but information mailing), then the requirements of the law on advertising must also be observed.
The above three articles list quite well how you can technically set everything up so that no one has any complaints against you.
For example, if under the contact collection form there are links to the Privacy Policy and a checkmark for consent to the processing of personal data, if the "double opt-in" technology is used (confirmation that the person really explicitly consents to receiving advertising mailings), then You can set everything up once - and not worry.
