How to register a domain not for yourself?

Good afternoon. I was recently approached by a man to develop a website for his company. The customer knows almost nothing about web development. He wants to pay money and make everything work. Therefore, I do not load him with all sorts of wisdom, I do everything myself as I see fit.
Now a question. You need to register a domain and hosting. I can register all this from my account, but when the hosting or domain runs out, notifications will come to my mail and I will have to contact the customers again, renew, etc.
If you register for him, then you need passport data, his mail, so that he then goes to the domain control panel himself, makes a payment, but he doesn’t know anything about it, and has no idea how it’s done? Tell me how do experienced freelancers do?

@Fromer

I create a mailbox, register a domain, hosting on it, redirect messages from mail for domains - and after payment I transfer the details of this mailbox to the client.

He can’t do it on the customer’s data, shoot a step-by-step video lesson for him on how to do it and give it away - he will force the secretary.

I took care of myself in such cases and didn’t sweat it, everything works well, customers are satisfied.

Let the customer create an account at least with the registrar and put money there.
You definitely shouldn’t blame yourself, in which case the responsibility for someone else’s activities may fall on you.
