How to register a brand for two people?

We are launching a project with a partner. He is in Russia. I am in Thailand. Both residents of the Russian Federation.
We are going to launch a joint website.
How to conclude a contract among themselves in order to become equal owners of the project?
And how can you avoid moments so that someone cannot change access passwords and other moments?

1) you need a legal entity - for Russia this is, for example,
LLC If the property was incorrectly transferred to a legal entity, it means that it doesn’t really own anything, and there is no sense in owning shares in such a company.
Correctly to arrange all this - a very large amount for lawyers.
3) it is better to immediately decide who is more important and not do 50/50 - then there will be fewer problems!
and remember that there are the powers of the founders, and there are the powers of the "general director" - they are different!
All this is written in the charter of the LLC - you need to write it very well!
4) There is a scheme to make 50% by 50% - in addition to making equal shares for the founders, you need to correctly spell out the charter that all decisions are made only unanimously + make two general directors (CEO) acting jointly (each document is considered signed only if both are signed ) - but this is the path with the "bomb", because someday you will still have a conflict of interest anyway.
It is most correct to use "two unanimous signatures" only for important documents, and to allocate duties to the one who will deal with them for daily activities - there 2 signatures will not be needed, because for daily activities it will only slow down the company's activities due to bureaucracy
Read here how it is looks something like

or rather look at other articles on this site a lot of useful information about charters
4) How to protect yourself from deception?
if something happened through the fault of the director / employee / founder, then they can then recover damages through the court,
but at the same time, the correct contracts / charter / other documents must be concluded - and this is again money for lawyers
5) Serious corporate transactions are usually done through " English law", through companies in foreign jurisdictions, as there is more confidence in the foreign judicial system.
and it turns out that the easiest thing is to initially agree on the "basics" among themselves and start somehow quickly and cheaply with a Russian LLC where the basics are spelled out in the charter, and sometime later, and if something shoots and grows up - only then take and fight all according to foreign law. spending a lot of money on lawyers under Russian law with courts that are still unknown how they will behave is probably not worth it

One should be more important according to the documents.
The longer you put off the decision to single out the main one, the more difficult the consequences will be.
And the moment will come at the most unexpected hour.

How to conclude a contract among themselves in order to become equal owners of the project?

Register a company and arrange everything for it.
But someone has to be the CEO.
And you need to agree on this in advance, including how decisions are made if you disagree with each other.

A brand / trademark can be registered for an individual entrepreneur or for an organization. Be the founders of this organization in equal shares

In theory, the Russian consulate in Thailand should provide notary services. Learn about it, then everything else.
Without a notary, there can be no contracts or powers of attorney.
