How to redesign a site without design sources?

Such a question: how to redesign the site if there are no source codes for the design itself, there is only a password and login to the Wordpress admin panel.
Or redesign in this case can be done only from scratch by making a site?

For redesign, the source code of the old design is not needed.
Redesign is usually understood as one of two things:
- make adjustments to the existing layout (remove there, add here, recolor here, etc.);
— draw a new design and turn everything around.
In the second case, the process is sometimes tantamount to “rebuilding the site from scratch”, taking into account the negative and positive experiences of the previous stage.
And, if you only have access to the admin panel, you can backup / download / migrate the site without any problems, as already suggested above.
