How to recruit a team in a startup?

Colleagues, give recommendations where and how best to recruit a team in an Internet startup? What you should pay attention to? what are the most common problems? I understand that the question is rather superficial to a certain extent, so I will be grateful for any recommendations.

Task: launch a beta version of the product within two months.

Who I'm looking for: 3-4 people from St. Petersburg capable of completing the following tasks - programming the user and client side, design and creation of the site, development of the system interface.

Already there: a very raw beta, which, in fact, needs to be completely redone. The existing team completely covers the issues related to the formation of the product concept, development, promotion and direct sales. There is also funding, but we plan to start working with one of the Funds in the summer.

For comrades who stopped believing in worthwhile ideas: the concept of the project was presented at one of the Startup Weekends organized by Glavstart: within the first hour we signed two mentoring agreements (later we stopped working with mentors) and a full “approval” from a Yandex representative .

I plan: to spend 100-120 thousand rubles a month on the work of the team in the first two months, after the successful launch of the product, to revise the salary fund upwards.

PS The option to rent a huge office in an expensive business center and give a salary of 100k rubles to 10 employees is not considered.

Not quite so, we are talking about attracting a TEAM, and not about its formation.

It 's destiny (:

As a regular staff, some kind of salary is planned.
Sites about work are known, it remains to draw a psychological portrait of the candidate.
This is a young man under 27 years old, unmarried, easy-going, with little work experience.

Interestingly, only one of me associates with the words “we are looking for employees in a startup” only “we pay little, we promise a lot”? I personally have never seen offers of options or shares in a company (which is quite normal practice for real, bourgeois startups), but the salary is two times lower than the market, or working for food for an idea is all the time. Well, after all, the organizers (owners) of a startup - they have a reason to work without a salary, to assemble the first mac in the garage on their own, having sold their car in order to provide start-up capital. Now it’s even easier: I received financing practically on a blank piece of paper, quickly hired qualified specialists, offering salaries 30% highermarket, quickly released the product to report to investors. Why is the salary higher in a startup? Therefore, employees understand that 9 out of 10 startups will be covered with a copper basin in 1, less often 2 years (data for the American economy), and that it will be necessary to look for another job at the most inopportune moment

Those who work well, do the job for a period of time are well aware of their own price - you are unlikely to hire super professionals for little money. Only students are cheap, but they still need to be taught the mind of the mind. Here you need to prioritize - if the success of the project depends on programmers - do not skimp on qualifications, "pays twice" has not yet been canceled. I don’t know about the others, but for my projects I only look for people with recommendations (and even they sometimes screw up). If there is serious money, some kind of super-idea, unique content, then I would either go to legal. A person with a good reputation, or was looking through friends. Good luck!

my recipe is this.
I recruit people, with a small margin, graduates and students.
I do an introductory within 1-2 weeks.
and then I send with one senior to a project simulator like this school.academpark.com/?p=541
At the end, the team worked out the idea, accepting it as their own.
More advanced in the topic of the project than me.
