How to recover files that disappeared during a move?

Hello! The situation is this.
The E:\ drive has a Test folder and the D:\ drive has an identical Test folder with newer files.
I cut the folder from D:\ and paste it into E:\, it finds conflicts, I choose to overwrite everything.
Due to the estimated 3 hour process, I decided to leave it at that and aborted copying.
But files disappeared from D:\, they are not in the Recycle Bin.
What program, in fact, to restore them? And this is somewhat different from the situation with the usual deletion from the disk.
