I need to recover a message that another user sent me and then deleted it.
The standard method with reinstalling Whatsapp does not help. The message is still marked "Deleted message". Is there any other way to restore the message?

There is a loophole in push notifications: if they are enabled, you will be able to read the deleted message.
If the iPhone does not need third-party software for this, there is a built-in notification center. Then on Android you need to get confused. There is an application for collecting push notifications - NotifySave . All you need to do is give access to files and add the necessary instant messengers and social networks to the "List of applications" section. For example, VKontakte, WhatsApp and Telegram. If the message was deleted, you will always find it in the "Today's notifications" tab.
There is also another way, but I have not personally tested it:

1. Launch WhatsApp and find the deleted message;
   
2. Launch the "Notification History" application;
   
3. Open the WhatsApp section, in the list of messages we find the right one,
   
4. Open and read (such messages are paired with a deletion message);
   

Note: If you search for deleted messages in WhatsApp using the Notification History application, then you cannot restart your smartphone, otherwise the history will be cleared.
