How to record video from Android screen?

There is a need to record a video from the screen of a non-rooted device.
When the Activity starts, start recording, stop when finished, saving the result. Recording should be done only in the device (not through adb).
I am not interested in a ready-made program from the market, but in some kind of library, or a set of libraries that can solve this problem.
PS I know how to save View in .png and glue them into video using ffmpg, but this solution is not suitable.
