How to record telephone conversations on your knee?
At some point in time, we switched to telephony from the provider, the provider installed its own gateway after its switch, to which we connected our analog phones, but now we need to record conversations, and the provider promises such a service not earlier than in two months. and maybe later.
Now I see two solutions, this is to take an adapter, for example, this www.sprecord-spb.ru/product_info.php?products_id=101 which costs a lot of money for our small company, or to fence a garden with your own PBX.
Take a free computer, pick up Elastix, ask the provider to let the numbers I need to record past the gateway onto my Elastix computer, turn on recording on it, and connect AudioCodes MP-204 to the computer. to connect analog phones.
Is it worth doing this or is it completely crazy or technically impossible or too complicated?
I have never dealt with telephony, sometimes I just changed a little settings in the Panasonic TDA-100
